Dignipets were just amazing
From making the initial enquiry to booking, Becky was just so lovely, at the most horrendous time for us.
Bruce came out to our beloved Buster – he was outstanding, the kindness shown not only to myself and my husband but more importantly to Buster – he explained everything, was reassuring and so very gentle – so Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts x

I would just like to thank Lucian at dignipets for his services last Friday 6/10/23 , he was very nice and understanding and delt with helping our beloved dog to pass in a calm and peaceful environment surrounded by all our family and it was such a hard hard decision but he made it clear it was the right time and decision to take . We couldn’t have had a nicer person to take our boy to a better place so thank you lucian at dignipets for your help in such a painful situation. Highly recommended.

From the time we contacted Dignipets we felt cared for. Our old lady who was 18 1/2 years old hated the vets so Silvia (the vet) arrived at home and instantly but Poppy at ease as well as my husband, daughter and me. Silvia was very gently and explained what was happening and gave us the space to say goodbye as a family.
Although it was a very sad time it was peaceful for Poppy which is what we wanted for her.
Dignipets care for the whole family which is lovely.

We cannot thank Dignipets enough for their compassion and kindness. From the first time we contacted them to discuss the arrangements for our beloved dog Grace. They explained the process very clearly with compassion and took the time to answer our questions. Donna the vet who came to our home was so quiet and kind, no rushing around, she explained everything so well and reassuringly. Grace was not afraid of her at all and made a great fuss of her. Donna gave Grace a small injection of sedative which sent her off into a dreamy sleep with all of us around her talking to her and stroking her ears, Donna then put the anaesthetic into her vein, there was no reaction from Grace, not even a twitch, it was all so peaceful and calm and she just drifted away whilst we stroked and talked to her. This was one of the most difficult decisions we have had to make for our beloved girl, but it was the right time. Grace’s quality of life was diminishing fast and we could not let this happen to her. Without hesitation, when the time comes to let our other dog go, we will be contacting Dignipets again. Thank you for making a heartbreaking decision bearable. Andrew and Pat x

Looking back to last week we were as a family heartbroken due to the loss of our French Bulldog Claude. We were all given plenty of time by Bruce who came to us, to say our final goodbyes. He was kind, compassionate and very respectful of our love for Claude and how hard it was for us to let him go. As a service it was caring and it was our final gift to Claude to let him go peacefully and with dignity. Although the loss of Claude is still huge in all of our hearts and minds, we are all agreed that we could not have given him a nicer ‘send off’. I will never be able to thank Bruce enough for helping us to do the unbearable. All I have left to say is that anyone in our situation should definitely consider Dignipets for their final goodbye. The call to Dignipets was emotional but was handled in a compassionate and empathetic manner. Lucian helped our little fella pass peacefully. He would not have liked his last journey to be to the local vet. Lucian was gentle, kind and considerate, he made a distressing situation as good as it gets. A fabulous service that we would thoroughly recommend.

Our dog Bailey received a gentle home euthanasia by your hospice vet, Bruce Stevenson. He was the perfect person for this role and I cannot thank him enough for being so kind and sensitive and making the whole process as comfortable as possible for both Bailey and us. He was excellent. Not only was he completely professional, knowledgeable and respectful, he had an air of calm and experience about him that let us know my dog was in a safe pair of hands. I could not have asked for better and would highly recommend Dignipets Leicester to anyone facing this difficult decision. Thank you so much Bruce.

Lucian came to us on Monday to lay our beautiful baby girl Dottie to rest, when cancer sadly took hold at only 5 years young. We couldn’t have wished for a more gentler and kinder person for Dotties final moments. Respectful doesn’t come close, understanding and compassion One thing is for certain we will recommend dignipets should anyone ever need to contact them.
We have no regrets on using the service. Thank you for your beautiful poem that arrived today.

I am writing this the day after losing Biri, our 14 year old Choc Lab. We had always said that we wanted her to go at home, with her family by her side. Dignipets were amazing from the start. We had quite specific plans to ensure it was a smooth as possible for our children. We told them on the Friday, planned to spend the Saturday with Biri, with one last walk, her favourite food, lots of treats and of course endless hugs and kisses. We then planned for the vet to visit on Sunday to help her pass on. Due to it being a Sunday, we had to call to request a vet on the day, via the emergency line, as this was the only service available, as discussed with them beforehand. The vet explained that she had to attend some emergency appointments first, and I clarified that Biri wasn’t an emergency. She said that she would call me with a time, when she was 45mins to 1hr away, which she did. Megan (the vet) arrived and discussed what was going to happen, and the options available for Biri’s body after she had passed. She was extremely professional, but extremely caring and empathetic, and we all felt totally at ease with her. At each stage Megan explained what she was doing, and what to expect and knew when to leave us to say our goodbyes. It was peaceful, beautiful and exactly how we wanted it to be. I then helped Megan put Biri in a dog bed, where she was covered up in a zip up sleeping bag, and carried her out of the house, to the vets car, just as I carried her into the house as a puppy (my choice). Payment was quick, and again empathetic to the situation. The only thing I would change is that I would choose to have the discussion about the choices about what to do with her body away from the children, whilst not horrific for them, they did say they didn’t like that part, but again, that was my choice to do that. Megan, you were incredible, a very hard job well done. Thank you for being there for us at that difficult time and for allowing us to say goodbye to Biri in the way that we wanted. Whilst it doesn’t take away the grief, it has given us a peace of mind that give us the foundation to move forwards. I can’t recommend Dignipets enough, and if you can, please use this option to allow your pets to pass in an environment where they feel the safest and happiest. Bless you all and your wonderful work.

From the first phone call to the last words of the vet, this team made the whole traumatic experience as positive as it could be given the circumstances. Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to all involved especially Bruce the vet who was extremely empathetic, compassionate, professional and understanding of our situation. It’s an awful thing to go through but these people will definitely help you in these difficult times. Thank you again.

When faced with one of the the most difficult decisions a dog owner has to make Dignipets Stafford were amazing. Each person I spoke to was extremely compassionate and empathetic. Silvia arrived in under 2 hours of my initial call and took the time to explain everything and make a fuss of my dog. The whole process, as hard as it is, was done completely professionally and with the utmost compassion. At no time were we rushed and were in fact given as much time as we wanted to spend with our beloved pet.
I would highly recommend Dignipets to any pet owner.

We were devastated to have to make the decision to lose our gorgeous loving Staffie Mayson last week. Saying our final goodbyes with him, in his own home, with those who loved him, has meant so much to us. Silvia was amazing and gave us all the time we needed to spend our own, personal, final moments of love together. We thank you so much for that. Kind regards, The Saunders Family.

I would strongly recommend this service to anyone whose pet is suffering and near death. It removed the need for a journey in the car which often distresses them and is done in the privacy and comfort of the home they love. We are given a time slot and nothing is rushed. The Vets are so gentle and kind and my cat showed no distress whatsoever. We are offered privacy to grieve. Thoroughly recommended.
