I trained in the Netherlands at Utrecht University.
Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working mainly in the Irish Republic and the UK.
MRCVS, DVM, CHPV
I graduated in 2007 and after working many years as a locum Veterinary Surgeon I founded Dignipets in 2015 to bridge the gap of care between diagnosis and euthanasia.
Working with pet carers and vet practices together to make end of life for a pet the best it can be is my favourite part of my job.
Helping pet caregivers provide their animals with the best possible final months is incredibly fulfilling. When I began my journey as a veterinarian, I was eager to do it all, with a particular passion for surgery.
However, I soon realised that my true calling lies in hospice care and end-of-life support.
Additionally, I have the opportunity to assist fellow veterinarians in establishing their own practices, which has become a delightful aspect of building a successful brand.
My job is to connect with vets who find helping pets with their final journey rewarding and want home visits for euthanasia offered in their own area.
Yes – I have 1 dog and several rescue cats
She is called Smelley smerl because she likes rolling in poo. The cats are all feral and refuse to be photographed!
