Lickey Poppy I’m only here because of Ruby, my mom fell in love with her you see, so placid and playful, she wanted a double in me I’m not perfect, I know that, I jump up, greet people for too long, lick them to death and just won’t stop, I’m a human lover, I just can’t help myself. I’m non plussed by other dogs, I prefer playing with Dad, give me a ball any day and I’ll run, I’ll jump, see how high I can go. Show me the beach and I’ll jump that groyne and when I get too hot, I’ll paddle in the sea, lay down on my belly and embrace the cool water. I love the stop off at the pub, I’ll sit on Moms lap and cover her in sand but she will wrap me up and make sure I’m warm. Everybody loves me who passes by, with my big brown eyes and softest of coats, who could resist, my mates feed me treats, I have them wrapped round my paws Back at the caravan, I await my escape, they’re not looking, I’m gone, who shall I go and see? They don’t mind you know; they always invite me in I chuckle as they look for me, which way did I go, they come and fetch me and tell me off, but I’ll get away again very soon. My sisters they love me, Beth brings Bailey (he’s ok for a dog) to go for a walk, Anna comes to stay, she’s so soft and gentle, sometimes she takes me home for a holiday at hers And when the day is done, you know I’m the best, I’ll lie on your lap and give the best cuddles, I’ll give and take all the love in the world That’s me, I’m Poppy, Cavapoo extraordinaire (1/7/2017 – 26/7/22)

Coco joined our family over 6 years ago, ad a 4 yr old ex puppy farm bitch. She had no idea how to be a pet. Over the years she became the most loveable dog, appreciating the many home comforts. Many thanks to Maja, who 3 years ago was quick to spot a cancer. That was successfully removed, but last year it returned. Sadly she went downhill rapidly and we lost her 16.08.22.
