Chester came to our family when none of us was looking, he provided endless company and moments of sheer mischief. Chester often made you think he was the one in charge. He could be a grumpy old man and at times he could act like he was still a spirited stubborn puppy! Often carrying sofa cushions or slippers to places they didn’t belong while barking at anyone who came near his front door. His bark really was worse than his bite. He was an utter coward and would hide behind you if challenged. He passed comfortably at home on Saturday afternoon surrounded by his loved ones. He will be forever missed! In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Boy Harley With his family by his side, we said goodbye to our precious companion of 13 and a half years. From the day he came into our lives, he brought endless love, joy, and loyalty. In his mind he never really grew up past the age of 2 — always full of energy, eager for walks, and happiest when meeting new people and dogs. He adored nothing more than chasing after his favourite blue ball and playing football in the garden, bringing us laughter and countless happy moments. Everywhere he went, people admired his handsome looks and gentle spirit. He was truly a gentle giant, nothing ever phased him, and he gave love so freely to everyone he met. At home, he was more than a pet — he was family. He was the most loving and patient big brother to Matthew, and the perfect companion to Hel and J, who will miss him every single day. His presence filled our home with comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we will forever cherish the memories of his wagging tail, his steady companionship, and his kind soul. He will always be a part of our family, and we are so grateful for the years we shared together. Run free, our beautiful boy. You were truly one of a kind. Love you forever x
