When our black Labrador, Toby, reached 14 years old he became very unsteady on his back legs. On 2 August we made the heartbreaking decision to call the vet. We were told that they did not have enough staff to make a home visit, but they did give us the phone number of Dignipets. This turned out to be very fortunate, as they were able to visit us at home the same day. The Dignipets vet, a lady named Silvia, approached with sympathy and professionalism rarely seen today. She made a fuss of Toby while she explained the euthanasia procedure in detail. First she gave him an injection to make him sleep, then a final injection. Toby had a very peaceful end , and Silvia stayed with us for a time while we mourned our dog. We asked for a cremation and received his ashes within week. We cannot praise Silvia enough. She even sent us a sympathy card a few days later. We would highly recommend Dignipets to anyone in a similar position.

I cannot praise these guys enough, my poor old friend took a turn for the worse in the night and we could tell he was ready. I messaged them on WhatsApp at 4am I knew they wouldn’t get back till morning but at two mins past 8 I had someone reply no messing around with unnecessary back and forth just confirmed where we were and told us someone would be there in a few hours. As soon as Silvia arrived she immediately sedated him taking the pIn away and allowing us all the time we needed to have our final cuddles and say good bye. There was no rushing on her part and in all honesty it made it that little bit easier knowing that she had to go help another poor pet end their pain.
A terrible time for any family to go through but these guys make it that little bit easier especially being able to be at home surrounded by family and not in a cold lifeless vet’s office. Xxx

Came today to put my late wife’s dog to sleep he had cancer he fought long battle with it like my late wife did with her illnesses I will miss Adolf he went to soon I like to think he’s with my wife looking down on me missing you both so much little Adolf look after mommy for me until we are together again much love Joe and all my thanks and god bless Alex the vet who made a very special day for Adolf’s passing many thanks Mr I j Jackson five star’s is not enough thank you again Alex
