- to respond to any requests for care you may submit to us through our contact form or any other enquiry email you may send to us;
- to register you as a client of the practice;
- to keep a record of your and your pets circumstances and your instructions to us and interactions with us;

- to enable us to provide a service (including potential hospice care);
- to enable us to instruct a third party to provide part of the service for you such as transport for your pet or cremation;
- to invoice you and take payment and recover any outstanding debt;
- to deal with any concerns you may have about our service and,
- to enable us to market our other services to you where appropriate.
Who do we share your personal information with?
We may share some of your personal information with transport or ambulance providers or companies who offer a cremation service. We may pass on our records of our dealings with your pet to your usual vet. We will only do this with your consent.
We may also pass on personal information to an external debt recovery company if an invoice has not been paid.
If our business is acquired or is in the process of being acquired by a third party then information about our clients may be passed to them.
We may also be asked to provide information for legal or regulatory purposes or as part of legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings.
What is our legal ground to process your personal information?
This will vary depending on what we are doing. We may have your consent to process your information to achieve a particular purpose. Most of our processing of information will be to enable us to take steps at your request with a view to there being a contract between us or to perform the contract we have with you. Finally, we may also process your information to further our legitimate interests (the effective and efficient operation of our business) and those of third parties.
We may process certain special category information of yours such as details of any disability to enable us to meet our legal obligations.
How long do we keep your personal information for.
Typically, will keep records for 7 years after we last provide a service for you.
You have a right of access to your personal information. You also have a right to rectify any inaccurate information we hold about you and to have your information erased.
